The following are the slides for a seminar I delivered today with my colleague Karin Tusting as part of the Dynamics of Knowledge Creation project. The session was entitled ‘Learning to write as academic’.
We had a useful discussion about the self-management of ongoing ‘on the job’ learning to write in academia, new challenges of collaboration and digitisation, coping with changes, and mastering an increasing diversity of genres and text-types for engaging diverse audiences.
